“One Earth, One Family Together: Practical Ways to Respond to Earth’s Cry”  This is the title of Mary Elizabeth Clark’s talk to honor Thomas Berry.  One week after Pope Francis visits Philadelphia, renewing his cry that we care for the earth, Sr. Clark will offer us practical and powerful ways to do just that.  The Director of the Earth Center at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, and only one of 25 Ambassadors for the Catholic Climate Covenant, Sr. Clark will inspire, challenge and guide us in crafting our own response to earth’s cry.

Join us one week after Pope Francis spends time with us in Philadelphia. He has invited us to respond to Earth’s cry, by paying attention to how we live as individuals and as communities. Mary Elizabeth will provide us very specific, practical, and doable ways to respond to the cry of Earth, on our own and as a group.

There are no tickets or fees for this event; there will be an opportunity to financially contribute to CFET’s mission.

A reception follows the talk.
